Our School
Regent House School is a co-educational, non-denominational controlled grammar school with a Preparatory Department for ages 4 to 11. The Secondary or Grammar School Department can cater for 1450 pupils between 11 to 19 years. Girls and boys in roughly equal numbers are admitted from a diverse range of backgrounds and schools throughout North Down and Belfast.
Staff
We're fortunate to have 75+ full-time teachers delivering the curriculum in our modern Newtownards facilities. Our team also includes skilled coaching staff, a qualified nurse, and a part-time pupil counsellor.
Student Life
The philosophy of our school is the belief that each pupil should be encouraged to fulfil their potential in a supportive and caring environment. In addition to the broad curriculum, pupils can participate in more than 20 sports and 16 other clubs and activities, some of which are unique in Northern Ireland. We showcase two theatrical performances annually and actively participate in local and national arts, academic competitions, including F1 in Schools.
