It is with great pleasure that they look forward to hosting over 40 companies including AECOM, Army, Bombardier, Citi Group, Culloden Estate and Spa, Deloitte, Farrans Construction, John McKee Solicitors, Kerr Henderson, Lagan Construction, Liberty IT, Moy Park, NIE, Peter Mark, PwC, Royal Navy, RPP Architects, Santander and SE Trust. Organisations such as 3fivetwo Training Academy, Evolve Sport USA, eye4education, Orchardville Society, Positive Futures, Project Trust and YMCA will also be in attendance to provide information and guidance about gap years, volunteering, interview skills and admission test training among other things.
Mr Carville, stated
“This is a chance for pupils to not only broaden their horizons but also to become inspired. Education is about creating opportunities. At each stage we open doors when we have successful outcomes and close them when we don’t. It is therefore vitally important that young people realise that it is not only important to work hard, it is essential to make well informed and carefully considered decisions about the subjects and career path they choose. This convention will enable pupils to gather a plethora of information about all the opportunities that exist both locally and internationally. I would therefore ask pupils to not only enquire about their chosen career path but to also explore areas that they might not have considered before”.
