Swimming Success
The Ulster Schools’ Relay Gala was held on Friday afternoon at BRA and our swimmers had a number of successes.
In the Open Mixed Medley Team Relay; the Regent team consisting of Rebecca Reid, Adam Barnes, Naeve Pountney and Killian McCandless finished in 3rd place.
The Junior Boys’ Relay team of Adam Barnes, Gene Smyth, Killian McCandless and Aaron Scott finished in 3rd place in the Freestyle Team Relay and 2nd in the Medley Team Relay.
The Year 8 Junior Girls’ Relay team of Kiera Aiken, Megan McBride, Megan Diamond and Darcy McLaughlin finished in 7th place in both the Medley Team Relay and the Freestyle Team Relay.
The Year 10 Junior Girls’ Relay team of Brooke Simpson, Cassie Huddleston, Rachel Press, Naeve Pountney and Anna Reilly finished 5th in the Medley Team Relay and 2nd in the Freestyle Team Relay.
The Senior Girls’ Relay team of Rebecca Reid, Naeve Pountney, Cassie Huddleston, Brooke Simpson and Kiera Aiken finished 1st in both the Medley Team Relay and the Freestyle Team Relay.
In the Open Girls’ 6 x 50m Relay the girls finished in 2nd place.
