Girls in Camogie Success

Congratulations to Sophie McGrath in Year 10, who has been selected for the County Down Camogie team for her age group.

She will play her club matches but will also train with the team and fulfil their fixtures.

Sophie also plays on the U14 A hockey team in school.

Further to this both Sophie and Jodie Bell, Year 9 have won the following:

  1. Feile- a competition in which their club team Ballycran was selected to represent Co Down in an all-Ireland Camogie competition.

  2. The girls won their league this year which is supposedly of a very high standard!
