Lewis Sails to Victory!

Lewis Thompson was chosen to compete for Northern Ireland at the Eric Twiname Regional Sailing Event in Rutland over the bank holiday weekend. After 3 days of high winds and very difficult sailing conditions he finished a credible 22nd out of 89 boats and as a team they finished 4th overall with 8 other regions competing. The coaches were very pleased with the performances both individually and as a team.

Over Easter Lewis also competed Irish Youth National Championships in Cork finishing 13th and last weekend he was at Blessington competing in the Traveller series where he picked up a trophy for 2nd place in the under 14 category.
