Oliver's Opportunity with the National Youth Music Theatre
A production team from the National Youth Music Theatre came to Belfast early February and held auditions for their new summer productions. Oliver Stevenson 9A was successful at these auditions and the production team recalled him to audition again in London during half term.
Oliver was successful at this recall audition and was offered a part as an in the musical ‘Imaginary’. Oliver will train over Easter in London staying at a boarding school and he will return to London in June and July for the performances.
This is an amazing, once in a lifetime opportunity for Oliver and he is very excited about going to perform in London. On his return home he was very lucky to be seated on the aeroplane beside his ‘old friend’ from his ‘panto days’ at the Grand Opera House - Gareth Gates.
