Year 8 and want to get involved in school life?

A list of some extra-curricular activities available to Year 8 has been put together - sometimes it can be hard to decide in what ways you’d like to get more involved with Regent House and the wide range of after-school sports and other organised groups.

Why not take a look through this list and see if there is anything you would like to be a part of? And maybe bring a friend or 2 along with you!

• Girls’ Hockey starts Wednesday 15th September 3:30-4:30 on school Astro pitch. Teacher in charge: Miss Benson

• History Club starts Monday 20th September 3:30-4:15 Location H8. Teacher in charge: Dr McCormick

• Board Games Club starts Tuesday 14th September Junior Lunch in B12 (along the English corridor). You can bring your packed lunch with you but food from the canteen cannot be brought to the club. Teacher in charge: Mrs Mellon

• Junior Scripture Union starts Wednesday 15th September in A3 from 3.20-4.15. Teacher in charge Mrs Kennoway

• Junior Dance Club meeting Wednesday 15th September Boys Gym 3:20-4pm – initial meeting just gauging numbers. Staff member in charge Mrs L Moore

• Badminton Club starts Thursday 16th September, Sports Hall from 3.30pm until 4.30pm. Teacher in charge Mr Armstrong

• Junior Boys' Hockey - starts Tuesday 14th September 3.20-4.30pm on the school Astro pitch. Boys can wear full Regent House tracksuit to school on a training day / mouth guards are strongly recommended / sticks can be provided. All session open to new and current members. Teacher in charge Mr Robb

• Junior Boys’ Rugby – starts Wednesday 15th September 3:20-4:30 on school Astro pitch but moving to Comber road. Teacher in charge Mr Gamble
