Minor Girls are crowned Relay Champions!

Irish Schools’ Championships 4th June:

 

Thirteen athletes represented Regent at the Track and Field event of the school season. This was their first experience of competing at Irish Schools’ and something I hope they will use as motivation and drive for future competitions. 

 

  • Finn McClean- 100m- 3rd place- in a new personal best of 12.04

  • Janna Best- 75m Hurdles - 5th- 12.46

  • Gabby Scates- 75m Hurdles - 6th- 12.80

  • Rudy Mayne- 1500m S/C- 9th- 5.25

  • Sam McClements- 1500m- 6th- 4.34

  • Jayden Booth- Long Jump- 5th- 5.88

  • Noah Greenald- Discus- 10th- best throw of 28.41

 

4x100m relay

Minor Girls- Anna McMillan Daisy McGuigan Janna Best and Heidi Logan

The Minor Girls stormed to VICTORY to take GOLD in the relay in a new personal best and SCHOOL RECORD of 53.97

 

 Minor Boys- Dylan Robinson Harrison Jamison Treshon James and Finn McClean

The Minor Boys battled hard to come 4th in a new personal best of 49.71
