Gymnastic Success!

On Sunday 26th Feb , a team of 7 gymnasts from regent house entered the Northern Ireland schools qualifiers, competing in both tumbling and acrobatic gymnastics.

The team members were Olivia Garrad, Amy Mills, Brooke Melville, Hollie Aiken, Aimee Jordan, Annie McEwan and Hollie Caulfield-Corr.

They all competed beautifully. Hollie A and Aimee J came first in the under 14 pairs section and will now travel to Stoke on Trent to represent Regent in the British schools finals.

Hollie A also secured a bronze medal in the ladies u14 tumbling.

The whole team did the school proud!!

Also on Sunday 5th March Hollie competed again… this time her and her partner Rudi placed 1st in the Northern Ireland qualifiers. They will now travel again to Stoke on Trent to represent Northern Ireland and compete in the British championships. A massive achievement!
