Regent Music @ The Bangor International Choral Festival
Well done to our Junior and Senior Chamber Choirs who competed at the Bangor International Choral Festival last week.
Our Junior Chamber Choir took first place in their class receiving excellent comments from the adjudicator Rob Elliott.
On Saturday evening our Senior Chamber Choir competed against adult choirs in the prestigious Open Choral competition. The choir were announced as the Runner-up with only one mark separating them from the winning choir and won £500.
The adjudicator commented on their balance and blend and congratulated them on delivering a difficult programme to such a high level. We were also awarded the Margaret McDowell Festival Award for Best Conductor. A huge thank you to our choir members who performed with such professionalism.
