Swimming Update
The Swim Ulster Primary Schools’ Cup and Championships were held on Saturday 9th December. Two of our Year 8 swimmers performed very well against the best swimmers in Ulster.
Zachary Coulter reached the finals of the 50m Butterfly and 50m Freestyle and finished in 4th place in both events, narrowly missing out on a medal. Mila Pickett came 1st in the 50m Butterfly, winning the gold medal and 2nd in the 100m Individual Medley, taking the silver medal.
Mila and Zachary both qualified for the Irish Minor Schools’ Championships which will be held in Dublin in February.
