Water Polo Triumps!
On 2nd and 3rd November four students from regent House represented Ulster Water Polo in an Inter Provincial tournament with Leinster, Connacht and Scottish Saltires.
Anna Reilly and Madelyn Calvert played for the Ulster u15 (2003 and younger) team, gold medallists. They won all their matches convincingly, beating Scotland twice 17-3 and 19-4, and also beating Leinster 17-4 and 16-10. Connacht didn’t field a team in this age-group.
Zach Balfour played for the Ulster u15 boys. Although they lost their games the contest was physical and the Ulster team played well.
Katie McGonigle played for the Ulster u17 (2001 and younger girls), bronze medallists. They beat Scotland 6-5 and were defeated by Connacht and Leinster.
