Last minute tickets for our school play....
It’s not too late to pick up some tickets for our resetting of the classic play - The Crucible. Here are the details, courtesy of the play’s director, Mrs E Allen -
We invite you and your English Literature and Drama students to Regent House Drama Society’s modern-day, in-the-round staging of Arthur Miller’s The Crucible. In keeping with Miller’s topical 1950s production, our production asks questions about our own all too credulous authorities when faced with accusations of abuse. In the wake of the Metropolitan Police’s response to the ‘Nick’ allegations and the BBC’s handling of unfounded accusations against Cliff Richard, we hope to make John Proctor’s question “Is the accuser always innocent?” relevant to our contemporary audience.
The Crucible will run from Tuesday 15th to Thursday 17th October at 19:30 in the assembly hall, and promises to be an immersive theatrical experience. Tickets are £10 and £6.
