Bassenfell 2020
The Scripture Union annual trip to Bassenfell in the beautiful Lake District will be taking place this year from 26 June to 3 July, and is open to pupils from Years 8-11. The week offers the opportunity to enjoy the scenery, as well as explore nearby towns, visit the city of Carlisle, and participate in a wide variety of activities organised by teachers and sixth form leaders.
The centre itself is not only in a beautiful setting, but has great facilities for sleeping, eating and spending free time – including plenty of outdoor space with slides, swings etc, and an indoor games room.
In the words of one of last year’s Bassenfellers: ‘I have been to Bassenfell twice already and I can’t wait to return next year to learn and have more fun with my friends!’
